James blogged a couple weeks back about the record highs in mortgage lending, and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Chris Mann interviewed him last Monday to discuss more details. You might be able to still catch the interview at around 5:25.
One thing James highlighted in the discussion, is that we are definitely seeing the effects of this national increase locally. Although Cambridge has been largely shielded from the worst times, we definitely see a rise in lending rates around here. The last three months have been a record for us.
